Wyoming Advantages
Much Less Taxing
Unlike most states, Wyoming does not levy an individual income
tax, estate tax, or tax retirement income
earned and received from another state. Sales tax in Wyoming is
only 4% and real estate taxes are low. As a result, Wyoming
property owners still pay among the lowest tax rates in the nation,
including no transfer taxes on real estate, and the lowest
electrical costs in the country.
In addition to tax savings, Wyoming offers many other
outstanding benefits to its residents. Affordable and subsidized
higher education helps to support students who attend the
University of Wyoming or a Wyoming community college, and numerous
resources in the current Wyoming funding model help meet each
child's personal needs based on proficiency.
In Touch with Nature
With such ample natural resources all around, you'll see
abundant wildlife in Wyoming. Elk, mule deer, bears and moose,
along with many other plant-eating animals can be found everywhere,
especially in the national parks, forests and wilderness areas.
