Alpine Area Attractions
Located in Lincoln County, Alpine is part of Star Valley, a
historically-rich area that provides an outstanding place to live
and play. It also serves as a stop for countless travelers en route
to and from Jackson Hole and offers a close and scenic commute to
many local residents who work in Jackson, which is just 35 miles

Star Valley
On the western edge of Wyoming and alongside the Idaho border,
Star Valley boasts incredible wildlife, a rich western heritage,
provincial landscapes, and truly authentic Wyoming character.
In close proximity to Jackson Hole, the 50-mile long, 14-mile
wide stretch of land known as Star Valley has since become an
increasingly popular destination unto itself.
With 70 miles of limited access shoreline and over 16,000 acres
of water covering the Palisades Reservoir to the north, boaters and
anglers enjoy water activities year round. Along with fishing,
horseback riding adventures, snowmobiling the 333 miles of trails,
and hunting wild game such as antelope, elk and mule deer, Star
Valley offers both adventure and extraordinary natural scenery.

Grand Teton National Park
Located in northwestern Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park
protects stunning mountain scenery and a diverse array of wildlife.
At 7,000 feet above the valley of Jackson Hole, the Teton Range
dominates the park's skyline.
During the summer, meadows are covered with the vivid colors of
wildflowers,
while the relaxing sounds of fish-laden streams cascade down the
rocky canyons.
Running north to south, the Snake River winds its way down the
valley and across
this amazing scene.

guided tours are among the many recreational opportunities

in Grand Teton National Park.
Yellowstone National Park
Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is America's
first national park.
Located in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, it is home to a huge array
of wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, bison and elk.
Preserved within Yellowstone National Park are Old Faithful and a
collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers and hot
springs.
With backcountry hiking and camping, bicycling, boating, tours,
day hikes, fishing, swimming, water skiing, horseback riding and
llama packing, picnicking and much more, Yellowstone offers
numerous year-round recreational opportunities.
